A MHE Speed Sensor system utilizing a proximity sensor is
designed to detect and measure the rotational speed
of an object without physical contact. This type of
system is commonly used in
industrial automation,
vehicle monitoring, and safety systems due to its
durability and reliability in harsh environments.
In this project, a proximity sensor is used to sense the
presence of a rotating object, such as a metal object
attached to a rotating shaft. Each time the target
passes in front of the sensor, it generates a pulse. By
measuring the time interval between successive
pulses, the system calculates the speed of the object.
